The fashion, beauty and lifestyle industry in Nigeria is a dynamic one. We wake up to new ideas, styles and inventions everyday and surely, creative personnels in these fields make Nigeria proud, as they continuously put Her on the world map. 


Away from creatives in these fields, there are people who help to popularize and influence the usage of products created from the afore mentioned industries. This is where fashion/beauty/lifestyle bloggers come in. They set trends and keep a pace ahead from the general public, while nudging them towards more creative and newer ways of doing things. 

While Lagos might be the major hub of these industries and its bloggers, Abuja can boast of more than a handful of bloggers worthy of the mention. With no order in mind, here are some of the trendy Abuja fashion/beauty/lifestyle bloggers.

Tosin Akande is a young and beautiful Fashion/Food/Lifestyle Blogger and aspiring Sartorial. Very noticeable about her style is her love for impressionable colours, and it sure does suit her well, as she pulls them off nicely. Asides that, her love for hats, particularly the fedora hat, is hard to miss. 

Her site, www.aspiring-sartorialist.blogspot.com, features her personal styles, write-ups about beauty, fashion and fashion products. She occasionally features other fashion-forward personalities on her blog as well. As I write this, she's been off blogging on her site for a while now, but I hope this piece gets her motivated to get back on it.

Kuyet Bamai who goes simply by Kuyet is a practicing Journalist, Lifestyle and Fashion Blogger. The tall, dark dude runs kuyetbamia.worpress.com, a site that sees him share his personal style and tips on how to achieve certain fashion looks. He started blogging in 2015 and has over time, been able to keep his audience glued with refreshing, tasteful and exciting posts. 

Noticeable about his fashion style, is the fact that he likes to play it safe and keep it simple on all levels. He styles himself around colours like blue, black, brown, white, gray, etc. Occasionally, he spices his looks with other colours like red, purple, green, among other colours. As a minimalist, which by the way he is quick to confess to, he definitely works and rocks his casual and laid back style nicely.

Via her YouTube channel (youtube.com/VivianOkezie), she tutors her audience on beauty and make-up tips. This melanin queen keeps them spell-bound not just because she is  beautiful, but also because she is good at what she does. Her face beats; highlights, contours, brows and lips come out with a glow unique to her touch, as she takes you through a journey of products testing

Vivian is also a fitness enthusiast and a fashionable diva with an impeccable taste.

Grace Alex is a petite, young and pretty Fashion entrepreneur, Style Influencer and Blogger. Fashion as we see it from her perspective is uber-chic, modern, decent, classy and sometimes eccentric with the-girl-next-door kind of look.  Asides dishing out fashion ideas and styles on her blog (www.gafashion.net), we see her every now and again dish out serial videos on beauty and make up tips via social media.

Without doubts, Grace is a sucker for good foot wears and it goes without saying that she's one to leave an impression with her foot wears. She is the CEO and Creative Director of Gafa Sandals, an emerging footwear brand.
